Your tasks

  • Contributes to the preparation of the monthly and quarterly reporting package and their statutory reporting for allocated OMV group entities
  • Prepares sundry financial reports for allocated OMV group entities
  • Delivers reports and checks for Joint Ventures (JV)
  • Provides support to other departments on financial topics
  • Collaborates with the team members and the other departments from Corporate Finance, Global Business Solutions and Business
  • Assist the management to improve department activity, finding new solutions in accordance with department objectives and business' requirements
  • Contributes to projects and initiatives for improving department processes and systems
  • Applies independently the knowledge from area of expertise in accordance with the business requirements

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance
  • Relevant professional experience: > 5 years
  • At least 5 years professional experience in similar business area (i.e. General Ledger & Cost Accounting services), preferably in the oil industry.
  • Very good knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Power Point)
  • Very good knowledge and application of SAP transactions related to own area of activity
  • Very good knowledge of FI/CO and specific application(s) / transactions used in own activity and general knowledge of other modules transactions/ interfaces on department level
  • Advance knowledge and understanding of the specific legislations / internal guidelines, of the rules and internal guidelines from different fields / at department level: Financial accounting (RAS and IFRS) regulations, regarding P&L accounts, management accounting principles and regulations.
  • English language skills - written and spoken - advanced level

About OMV Petrom

OMV Petrom is the largest integrated energy producer in Southeastern Europe, with an annual Group hydrocarbon production of approximately 38 million boe in 2025. The Group has a refining capacity of 4.5 million tons annually and operates an 860 MW high-efficiency gas-fired power plant. The Group is present on the oil products retail market in Romania and neighbouring countries through approximately 780 filling stations under two brands – OMV and Petrom.

OMV Petrom is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, with a 28.1% free float.
