We are looking for a Senior Microsoft 365 Security Expert specialising in Microsoft Purview DLP and Microsoft 365 Copilot to support a security project focused on the implementation, configuration and governance of Microsoft 365 security and AI capabilities.
The consultant will contribute to the deployment of Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI agent capabilities, ensuring that these solutions are implemented according to Microsoft standards, industry best practices and established security governance requirements.
The role forms part of a broader information security programme and requires ensuring consistency and security across the Microsoft 365 platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and configure Microsoft Purview DLP solutions.
- Define and enforce policies for information protection, data classification and prevention of unauthorised data transfers.
- Configure, monitor and secure Microsoft 365 Copilot
- Support the secure implementation and governance of Microsoft 365 Copilot capabilities, including advanced Copilot functionality.
- Configure and secure Microsoft 365 services and associated security controls.
- Establish appropriate controls around the use of AI capabilities within the Microsoft 365 environment.
- Support the governance, monitoring and security of AI agents
- Assess and mitigate security risks associated with AI agents and Copilot.
- Ensure solutions comply with Microsoft recommended standards, security best practices and organisational governance requirements.
- Contribute to the overall security architecture and consistency of the Microsoft 365 platform.
- Provide expert guidance on DLP, Microsoft 365 security, Copilot and AI governance.
- Support secure adoption of Microsoft 365 AI technologies within an enterprise environment.
Mandatory Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Purview DLP solutions.
- Proven experience controlling, configuring and securing Microsoft 365 Copilot.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience with Microsoft 365 configuration, security and governance.
- Proven experience governing, controlling and securing AI agents.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security and information protection concepts.
- Ability to work within formal security governance and compliance frameworks.
- English proficiency at C1 level.
- Senior-level expertise with the ability to operate independently in a security-focused environment.
- Experience with Microsoft information protection and data classification.
- Experience implementing DLP policies across enterprise Microsoft 365 environments.
- Experience with Copilot security and governance in large organisations.
- Experience defining governance frameworks for generative AI and AI agents.
- Experience working within ISO 27001-aligned security environments.
- Experience working with confidential or highly sensitive enterprise information.

Security Requirement

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Microsoft 365 Security Expert with strong practical experience in Microsoft Purview DLP, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft 365 security and AI agent governance They should be capable of independently designing, configuring, securing and governing these technologies within an enterprise security environment.
