What is Expert Consumer Products - Remittances?

Expert Consumer Products will play a key role in supporting the Consumer Products team in exploring, evaluating, and executing digital financial services product initiatives across consumer money movement, international remittances, cross border payments and emerging product use cases.

This role is suitable for a product professional who can work across multiple product streams, including customer journeys, partner-led propositions, wallet-based use cases, cross-border money movement, and home remittances. Direct remittance experience will be preferred, however, candidates with strong product management experience in fintech, banking, digital payments, wallets, consumer apps and digital products will also be considered.

The role requires strong execution capability, product documentation skills, business analysis, market research, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to convert business ideas into structured product requirements and deliverables. The position will work closely with Technology, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Analytics, and external partners to deliver product initiatives from concept to launch.

Reporting directly to the Manager Consumer Products, Digital Financial Services, this role will contribute to strengthening execution capacity and supporting the delivery of strategic consumer product initiatives.

What does Expert Consumer Products - Remittances do?

  • Support execution of consumer product initiatives across wallets, cross-border payments, international remittances, and new digital financial services use cases.
  • Assist in designing customer journeys, feature flows, and preparing BRDs, concept notes, and product papers for remittance use cases.
  • Conduct market, competitor, customer, and regulatory research to identify product improvement opportunities and new business use cases.
  • Support research and evaluation of emerging cross-border payment models, including blockchain-enabled and stablecoin-based propositions, subject to regulatory and business alignment.
  • Manages partner dialogues on technological and business centric on regional partner-led remittance and cross-border payment interplays alongside stablecoin remittance propositions.
  • Support product enhancement initiatives for home remittances, freelance payments, cross-border payments, wallets, and associated propositions.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, NDAs, MoUs, commercial comparisons, agreement drafts, and business case documentation for product and partnership initiatives.
  • Support financial modelling, including revenue projections, pricing scenarios, fee structures, and unit economics.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Technology, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Operations, Marketing) to track progress of initiatives and dependencies.
  • Support UAT activities, test case documentation, and integration follow-ups for new and existing use cases.
  • Provide structured analysis, reporting, and ad-hoc support to assist management in decision-making on remittance initiatives

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be a Expert Consumer Products - Remittances?

  • 3–5 years of work experience in product management, fintech, digital payments, banking, remittances, wallets, consumer apps, digital products, strategy, or business analysis roles.
  • Master’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Computer Sciences, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of digital products, customer journeys, product lifecycle, and go-to-market execution.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into structured documentation
  • Good understanding of regulatory, compliance, risk, and operational considerations in financial services or digital products.
  • Willingness to learn specialized product domains such as remittances, cross-border payments, and partner-led financial services.
  • Comfort with numbers, financial modelling, and basic P&L analysis
  • Strong documentation and presentation skills (Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and manage parallel workstreams
  • Detail-oriented, structured, and execution-focused mindset
  • Strong understanding of the product lifecycle and cross-functional collaboration
