Division Manager — Pembroke Pines, FL

Lead Operations. Drive Growth. Build Strong Community Partnerships.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Division Manager to lead daily operations, financial performance, team development, and customer relationships for our Pembroke Pines division. This high-impact leadership role is responsible for overseeing divisional success while ensuring operational excellence, employee engagement, and exceptional client service.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong business acumen, operational management experience, and the ability to build lasting relationships with employees, municipal partners, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Operational & Financial Leadership

  • Oversee divisional operations, accounting functions, budgeting, forecasting, purchasing, and financial planning activities
  • Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency
  • Develop annual budgets, goals, and performance objectives in collaboration with the Regional Vice President
  • Analyze monthly operational and financial results while identifying opportunities for growth and cost savings
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and implement operational controls and efficiencies

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and support department managers and divisional staff
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and safety-focused work environment
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and development for exempt and non-exempt employees
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards
  • Build strong working relationships across operations, maintenance, customer service, accounting, and support teams

Customer & Community Relations

  • Serve as the primary divisional leader for client support and escalated operational matters
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal staff, business partners, and community stakeholders
  • Support business development initiatives and identify opportunities for future growth within the market
  • Represent the division professionally within the community and organization

Strategic & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Regional Vice President on strategic planning and division performance initiatives
  • Lead and oversee special projects and operational initiatives
  • Participate in company-sponsored leadership and professional development programs
  • Stay current with industry trends, operational technology, and best practices

Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required; equivalent combination of education and relevant leadership experience may be considered
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive management or supervisory experience, preferably in operations, transportation, logistics, environmental services, waste management, or a related industry
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams and managers
  • Experience managing budgets, financial reporting, forecasting, and operational performance
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word, along with experience using business systems and reporting tools
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • CDL license and DOT Medical Card preferred

  • Lifting or moving materials weighing up to 40 pounds as needed
