What Our Veterinary Receptionists Do

As a Veterinary Receptionist, you’ll be one of the first and most important connections our clients have with Linganore Veterinary Clinic.

You’ll help create a warm, organized, and professional experience while supporting the communication and coordination that keeps a busy veterinary hospital running smoothly.

Your role may include:

  • Greeting clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Answering and managing incoming phone calls
  • Scheduling and coordinating appointments
  • Communicating clearly and compassionately with pet owners
  • Helping clients navigate questions and veterinary recommendations
  • Maintaining accurate client and patient information
  • Supporting efficient client flow throughout the hospital
  • Communicating important information between clients and the medical team
  • Helping maintain an organized and welcoming reception area
  • Supporting day-to-day administrative responsibilities
  • Anticipating client and team needs whenever possible
  • Taking ownership of assigned tasks and following them through to completion
  • Asking for help when needed and offering help to teammates
  • Contributing to a positive, collaborative hospital environment
  • Providing exceptional service to every client and patient
