Boeing’s India Supply Chain team is currently looking for Experienced Supply Chain Strategy & Growth reporting to Senior Manager , Supply Chain India.

The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment. He or she must be flexible to accommodate business requirements that span multiple time zones and may require travel, having international experience working with diverse groups and cultures will be an added advantage. The ability to multi task & delivers within timelines is essential.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing supply chain related activities
  • Performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance management
  • Identify opportunities to optimize our supply chain cost structure and profitability through vendor engagement, project management, and collaboration with partner teams on system improvements.
  • Collaborate with all business units to support strategy for India Supply Chain including Souring growth / Supply Chain Capability development and work transfer opportunities to grow supply base and sourcing spend in country.
  • Support Boeing India growth projects for local customers for all business units
  • Manage Global Supply Chain Capability efforts and support regional growth to support bigger Boeing interests as mandated by the leadership
  • Manage special projects and engage with Program and Sales team as Supply Chain focal to support India customer campaigns
  • Drive Continuous Improvements in supply chain management and processes
  • Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives
  • Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Manage India events (internal/external)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Knowledge / certification in Lean Six Sigma background would be an advantage.
  • “Supply Chain Strategy” development and implementation
  • Supply Chain Management and Procurement experience
  • Proven track record of developing supply base & Supply Chain capability in country
  • Experience in Aviation Industry is desired
  • Ability to work with cross functional team of cultural diversity
  • Established track record managing experienced supply chain resources and developing highly effective distributed teams.
  • Ability to manage a large team and sophisticated work statement while balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage challenging demands.
  • Experienced leader, who has built an environment conducive to an aggressive project implementation schedule.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Practical experience in managing sophisticated projects particularly geared around quality, cost, innovation and timeliness of delivery.
  • The position is expected to be 100% office primary.
  • The candidate shall be open to travel based on business needs

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) :

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required .
  • Program management.
  • Manufacturing Process/Operations.

Typical Education & Experience :

  • Technical bachelor’s degree in mechanical / production engineering and typically 8 to 12 years related work experience OR a Master's degree with typically 7 to 11 years or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
