Job Description

• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic components in vehicles, including wiring, lighting, sensors and control modules.
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
• Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs
• Ensure all work is completed to high-quality standards and follows manufacturer's warranty specifications
• Maintain detailed records of all repairs, parts used and services performed
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Stay up to date with the latest automotive technology and industry trends through training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience as a ASE or Volkswagen technician
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Fast, eager learner and team player
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Computer skills and willingness to learn new problems
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
