Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Quality Systems Specialist to join our dynamic team in Tukwila, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Reviews supplier statements of work and purchase contracts to determine the applicable quality requirements for suppliers
  • Liaise with supplier management on purchase contracts
  • Monitor supplier quality related activities and reports issues
  • Inspect or verify products for compliance with requirements in Receiving Inspection
  • Support internal audits of supplier quality processes
  • Participate in root cause correct actions
  • Resolve routine issues and concerns
  • Coordinate and support process improvements
  • Work under general supervision
  • A team player, able to work in collaborative environment

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with QMS (Quality Management System)
  • Experience working in Quality, Supplier Quality or Supplier Management
  • 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams
  • 1+ years of experience in project management and/or cross-functional integration

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ year of experience working in aerospace industry
  • Experience with Supplier Quality Information Systems (SQIS)
  • 3+ year of experience working in Quality job role
  • 1+ year of experience in Supplier quality processes
  • Experience working with Quality Standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 14000.
  • 3+ year of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

pay range: $102,000 - $138,000
