We are looking for an Experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Process Safety, Technical Safety, and/or Electrical Safety to lead complex technical projects and deliver high-value solutions to our clients.

This role is ideal for a technically competent leader who enjoys working at the interface between engineering excellence, stakeholder management, and project execution.

The Role

As an Experienced Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multidisciplinary projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, quality, and budget while maintaining DNV's high standards for technical excellence and customer satisfaction.

You will work closely with clients, technical specialists, and business leaders to deliver safety-related projects supporting major industrial and energy developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage technical safety projects across multiple industries.
• Drive project planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery.
• Manage commercial, contractual, technical, and operational aspects of projects.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary specialist teams and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with DNV methodologies, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Monitor project performance, risks, resource allocation, and financial outcomes.
• Prepare and present project status reports to clients and senior management.
• Support business development activities, proposal preparation, and tender submissions.
• Mentor junior project managers and technical specialists.

Technical Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
• Chemical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Process Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience within:
• Process Safety
• Technical Safety
• Electrical Safety
• Risk Management
• Major Hazard Facilities
• Energy or Industrial Projects

Project Management Experience

• Extensive experience managing complex technical projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
• Strong commercial awareness and client-facing experience.

Certifications

One or more of the following certifications is highly desirable:

• PRINCE2 Practitioner
• PMI PMP (Project Management Professional)
• DNV Project Management Excellence (PME)
• IPMA Certification
• Agile Project Management certifications are considered an advantage.

Preferred Experience

Experience with one or more of the following areas is desirable:

• SIL Assessments
• Functional Safety
• QRA and Risk Assessments
• Fire and Explosion Analysis
