Join our team as a skilled Post Press Operator specializing in multi-color and high-speed press operations on the third shift. If you have a keen eye for detail and expertise in press setup and color matching, this opportunity in Townsend, MA is for you.

As a Post Press Operator, you will be responsible for the precise manual setup and operation of multi-color sheet fed or high-speed continuous/web presses. Your expertise in mixing PMS inks, die registration, and adjusting ink and water balance will ensure top-quality print production that meets or exceeds customer expectations.

• LOCATION: Townsend, MA 01469
• POSITION: Contract
• SCHEDULE: Third shift - Sunday to Thursday / 11pm-7am (Train on 1 st shift)
• PAY RATE: $22.00 hour

Responsibilities

• Perform complete and effective press setups including identifying and loading correct stock, setting paper path and stretch, bending and mounting plates.
• Mix PMS ink accurately and manage die registration to assure precise multi-color register.
• Make appropriate adjustments to ink and water balance and set up attribute functions such as perforations, numbering, and file holes.
• Understand and execute all order instructions to meet job requirements for ink density, color matching, size, and construction.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance to maintain product quality.
• Demonstrate full understanding and use of all press controls.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and make necessary equipment adjustments including blanket changes, washing units, cleaning water systems, and roller settings.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 18 years old and eligible to work in the USA.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing or printing experience.
• Strong knowledge of printing processes and usage.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
