Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and repair plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and fittings
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to determine work requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues efficiently and effectively
- Perform routine maintenance to prevent system failures and ensure longevity
- Comply with all safety regulations, building codes, and company policies
- Collaborate with other trades and team members on mechanical projects
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent
- Operate tools and equipment safely, ensuring proper maintenance and storage
- Provide guidance and support to junior plumbers and apprentices
- Communicate with supervisors and clients regarding project progress and any issues
- Ensure work areas are kept clean, organized, and professionally presented
Requirements
- Proven experience as a plumber at a mid-senior level (minimum 3-5 years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, materials, and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Relevant plumbing certification, license, or vocational training (where applicable)
- Proficiency with both residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various conditions, including confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment
