The Beverly YMCA is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Personal Trainer to deliver high-quality, results-driven training in our state-of-the-art fitness facility. In this role, you will partner with members to create personalized fitness plans, coach proper technique, and provide the motivation and accountability needed to support long-term success.
Engage and support members on the fitness floor through exercise demonstrations, equipment guidance, and individualized recommendations.
Deliver one-on-one and small-group training sessions tailored to members’ goals, abilities, and experience levels.
Conduct complimentary fitness consultations and assessments to help members get started and stay motivated.
Monitor workouts, offering modifications and support to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming fitness environment and ensure equipment is used properly.
Serve as a positive ambassador for the Y by greeting members, answering questions, and fostering an inclusive, supportive atmosphere.
Certified Personal Trainer (ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent) with prior hands-on experience in personal and/or group training.
Strong understanding of exercise science, strength training, and safe progression techniques.
Proven ability to assess client needs and create customized, results-oriented fitness programs.
