Summary
Experience in customer service, manufacturing, supply chain, or retail? This could be the job for you! This first-shift position offers steady, competitive pay, a fast-paced day with plenty of variety, and a friendly, team-focused environment.
As a Parts Counterperson, you’ll support customers and technicians by answering questions, providing accurate quotes, processing orders and payments, and managing inventory. You’ll identify the correct parts, track incoming and outgoing orders, and ensure timely, accurate service that keeps the parts department running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and vehicle information
- Handling parts payments through accurate billing
- Fulfills orders from stock
- Input orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up
- Track all incoming and outgoing parts for the dealership
- Locating available parts when the dealership is out of stock
- Referring to parts manuals to identify exactly the right part(s) for the make, model and year of vehicles being serviced
QualificationsRequirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Detail-Oriented
- At least 1 year of automotive parts experience
- Focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Valid driver’s license
