Tired of working nights, weekends, and holidays? Do you sometimes forget what your family looks like after a long week of working late? Ever wonder what it would be like not to work eight days a week?

Parkside Animal Care Center wants to talk.

We believe a career in veterinary medicine shouldn’t mean giving up your life outside of it. That’s why we value a healthy work-life balance and want our team members to succeed both inside the clinic and everywhere else life takes them.

We’re a well-established, four-doctor practice looking for an experienced or licensed Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our fantastic team. We genuinely appreciate the different personalities, perspectives, and unique skills each team member brings—and we’re excited to see what you’ll bring to ours.

What Our Veterinary Technicians & Assistants Do

As a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant, you’ll work alongside our doctors and support team to help provide compassionate, high-quality care to our patients and clients. Depending on your experience, training, and credentials, you’ll:

What You’ll Bring

We know great veterinary professionals aren’t all exactly alike—and we wouldn’t want them to be. We’re looking for someone who brings their own strengths to the team while sharing our commitment to excellent patient care.

You’ll bring:

At Parkside Animal Care Center, flexible hours and a schedule without nights, weekends, or holidays mean you can build a veterinary career while still having time for the people, hobbies, and responsibilities waiting for you outside the clinic.

You’ll also work with a four-doctor team that appreciates what each person brings to the practice. Different personalities and different skill sets make a stronger team, and we want you to have opportunities to use your strengths while continuing to develop new ones.

Because veterinary medicine may be what you do—but it shouldn’t have to be everything you do.
