Role: ICU & Emergency Veterinary Technician - Daytime shifts
Status: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive and based on experience
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and every other weekend
Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of prior experience working as a Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician is required

Allied Veterinary Emergency Hospital is a multi-doctor emergency hospital in Tallahassee, FL, serving the Big Bend region of North Florida, South Georgia, and parts of Southern Alabama. We’re looking for experienced ICU and Emergency Veterinary Technicians who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are ready to play an essential role in caring for critically ill and injured patients.
Whether you’re managing an ICU patient, triaging an incoming emergency, assisting with surgery, performing diagnostics, or communicating with a worried pet owner, your technical skills and judgment will matter every shift.
Our afternoon, evening, and overnight opportunities are ideal for technicians who can stay organized under pressure, communicate clearly, and work collaboratively with multiple DVMs and support team members.
Emergency medicine gives you the opportunity to use your skills when they matter most. At Allied Veterinary Emergency Hospital, you’ll be involved in the patient-care process from triage and stabilization through diagnostics, treatment, monitoring, and client communication.
You’ll work with a variety of cases, collaborate with multiple doctors, and continue strengthening the technical and critical-thinking skills that make experienced Veterinary Technicians such an important part of emergency medicine.
