Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join a professional, high-performing shop specializing in light to medium-duty diesel pickup trucks. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced diesel technician or a skilled automotive technician ready to transition into diesel. Enjoy an air-conditioned shop, a Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends, strong earning potential, and a team that values quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair light to medium-duty diesel pickup trucks.
• Perform advanced engine, fuel system, turbocharger, cooling system, suspension, brake, and electrical system repairs.
• Remove and replace engines and transmissions.
• Pull truck cabs as required for major repairs.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and drivability troubleshooting.
• Complete digital vehicle inspections and accurately document repairs.
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional automotive technician experience.
• Diesel repair experience preferred.
• Strong automotive technicians interested in transitioning into diesel are encouraged to apply.
• Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Own professional technician tools.
• Team-oriented with a strong commitment to quality workmanship.

Compensation & Benefits

• Flat-rate pay: $55-$60 per flagged hour

• 40-hour guarantee available for up to four weeks upon request
