Job Description

Position: Experienced Leasing Consultant

Banyan Living is currently seeking an Experienced Leasing Consultant to enhance our leasing team. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in leasing and customer relations to attract and retain residents in our premier apartment communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engaging and informative property tours for prospective residents, showcasing our apartment features and community amenities.
  • Utilize your knowledge of the leasing process to assist potential tenants through inquiries, applications, and lease signings with a strong emphasis on customer service.
  • Implement effective follow-up strategies to convert leads into leases, ensuring a seamless transition for new residents.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of local market trends and competitor offerings to position Banyan Living favorably within the market.
  • Collaborate with the Property Manager to create and execute marketing initiatives targeting prospective renters.
  • Support resident retention programs, addressing concerns and fostering a welcoming community atmosphere.
  • Manage leasing paperwork accurately and maintain organized resident files using property management software.

Requirements

To be successful in the Experienced Leasing Consultant position, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in leasing, sales, or customer service within the property management sector.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with residents and team members.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail in managing paperwork and resident interactions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with property management software is highly preferred.
  • The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as business needs dictate.
  • A professional appearance and approachable demeanor to enhance resident engagement.
