About the role
Our Real Estate Team is growing! As we continue to grow and expand our resources, we are now looking to recruit a lawyer that will enhance our existing team with their knowledge and experience in real estate, contract and corporate law.
Requirements
As a member of our exceptional Real Estate law team you will:
- take a leading role and gain further experience in pioneering real estate projects, with particular emphasis on M&A transactions in Greece;
- leverage and further develop your combined real estate and contract law expertise, applying it to complex risk assessment and due diligence matters;
- play a key role in a wide variety of real-estate-related M&A transactions (including corporate transformations) and asset transactions, taking responsibility for advising large national and multinational corporate clients;
- coordinate and supervise junior associates and trainee lawyers within transaction teams, providing guidance on research, drafting and due diligence workstreams;
- contribute actively to global workstreams and collaborate with international legal teams, further enhancing your experience and providing valuable insights into international markets;
- liaise directly with the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, in relation to listed clients and real estate investment companies governed by Law 5193/2025 (former Law 2778/1999), as well as with the Commercial Registry, land registries and cadastres;
- apply and further develop your knowledge through sophisticated matters and legal solutions spanning the full spectrum of civil and corporate law issues faced by our clients.
The successful candidate should have:
- qualification to practise as a Greek lawyer, through a Greek law degree and bar admission;
- a minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate, contract and corporate law;
- an LLM in civil or commercial law or another relevant field (an LLM in civil or commercial law will be considered a significant plus);
- professional experience advising on corporate matters, combined with systematic and hands-on experience in real estate transactions in Greece;
- experience in construction, lease and/or concession agreements will be considered a significant plus;
- experience in planning and zoning matters will also be considered a plus;
- a clear professional focus and demonstrated commitment to building a recognised practice in real estate law and related M&A transactions;
- strong interpersonal skills and a keen attention to detail;
- a continuous learning and development mindset;
- a positive attitude and strong team spirit, with the ability to coordinate and mentor junior team members;
- excellent English written, drafting and oral communication skills.
