Job Description

Are you an ambitious and highly motivated IT Service/Operations Manager looking for an exciting new challenge? We currently have a vacancy for a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team at our company headquarters in Athens, with occasional onsite missions to client premises across Europe.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and coordinate the operations and support teams of the company (Service Desk and Technical Support groups), covering various international projects;
  • Overall responsibility for maintaining the operational integrity of the technologies and services provided, ensuring all day-to-day operational activities are carried out in a timely and reliable way;
  • Overall responsibility for IT Facilities Management within the company’s data center or external (client premises, private/government cloud);
  • Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) both internal (company-facing) and external (client-facing);
  • Apply and coordinate ITIL Service Operation Processes such as event management, incident management and request fulfillment;
  • Cooperate with the company’s development teams for implementing ITIL processes within the products’ design;
  • Utilize Service Management tools and create reports on the operational status and activities pertaining to operations;
  • Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • University degree in an IT-related field;
  • ITIL Foundation Certification or higher;
  • Excellent command of the English language;
  • At least 8 years of experience in a professional environment offering Service / Operations management, covering critical systems and using state-of-the-art tools from a senior position;
  • Experience with IT-Projects based on Agile procedure;
  • Experience with continuously building, deploying, and updating software and environments in an agile framework;
  • Experience in the use of ITIL-compliant ITSM tools such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Samanage, or equivalent.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with and/or DevOps certification;
  • Certification in Agile Methodologies;
  • Certification in PM Methodologies;
  • More than 10 years of IT Service/Operations manager experience.
