This Opportunity
WSP has a new opportunity for an Experienced Geologist/Engineering Geologist to join the Geosciences Team in our Redmond, WA office. The qualified candidate shall have broad skills in the field of applied geology and engineering geology, be registered as a Geologist or Engineering Geologist, or capable of obtaining their license in the State of Washington. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering consulting or related field and have a strong background in geology/engineering geology. Experience in planning and executing field exploration programs, writing proposals and reports, and managing client and project deliverables is highly desirable.
WSP’s Redmond Team offers multi-disciplinary projects including geotechnical investigations, near-surface geophysical investigations, geological mapping projects, and related services to a diverse set of clients, including industrial/commercial companies, local and state agencies, and the federal government. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who would enjoy joining a team of geologists and geophysicists who are focused on client needs in the geosciences. We are looking for someone who is focused on delivering quality consulting services and works to grow the client and project opportunities for the Geoscience Team and the office. We have in-house experts in geology, engineering, environmental remediation, and graphics/GIS who support our projects, and have access to subject matter experts worldwide. The position requires a self-motivated candidate able to work as part of local, regional, or national project teams.

40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER) (29 CFR 1910.120) preferred

Compensation:
Expected Salary (all locations): $78,300 - $111,980
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
