Job Title: Forklift Operator (Order Picker / Reach Truck / Sit-Down w/ Clamp)

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Shift: [Insert Shift – e.g., 1st / 2nd / Overnight]

Abacus Staffing is hiring experienced Forklift Operators to work at our client site, Veritiv, in Jacksonville, FL. This role requires candidates with strong experience operating multiple types of warehouse equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Order Picker (Cherry Picker), Reach Truck, and Sit-Down Forklift
• Safely operate clamp attachment when required
• Load, unload, and move product throughout the warehouse
• Pick and stage orders accurately using RF scanners or pick lists
• Perform routine equipment checks and follow all safety protocols
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Meet productivity and quality standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 1+ year of recent forklift experience
• Experience on:
  • Order Picker / Cherry Picker
  • Reach Truck
  • Sit-Down Forklift
  • Clamp attachment (required)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Comfortable working at heights (for order picker)
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening
