About the team
Internal control team is responsible for performing risk identification and assessing the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls across ByteDance global functions. The team's mission is to be a trusted advisor and add tangible value to the company through insightful and comprehensive risk management practices and proactive internal controls advisory support.

- Participate in various company-wide initiatives, such as identifying risks, performing risk analysis and root cause analysis. Recommend and develop analysis tools and templates to drive efficiency and effectiveness in processes, approvals and policies improvement.
- Provide research, analysis, and insights based on effectiveness, efficiency, experience and system feasibility for management reporting as needed.
- Participates in cross‐functional teams to conduct root cause analysis to establish action plans to improve the control environment.
- Encourage and stay up to date with best practices, growing together with team members.
