About the Role

We’re seeking a capable and motivated Experienced Geotechnical Engineer who brings both technical depth and project management capability to join our team in QLD:- role can be based in Brisbane/Cairns/Townsville/Sunshine Coast/Gold Coast

As an Experienced Engineer – Geotechnics, you will be responsible for planning, analysing, and delivering geotechnical engineering solutions on projects of moderate complexity. You will play a key role in ensuring technical excellence, project efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver geotechnical analysis, design, and site investigation tasks in line with relevant standards and client requirements
  • Plan and conduct engineering projects of reasonable complexity
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure quality, coordination, and timely delivery
  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and proposals for small to medium-sized projects
  • Manage project scope, risks, and priorities across multiple assignments
  • Contribute to the commercial success of projects and team performance
  • Apply sound project management principles to achieve deliverables on time and to standard
  • Support and provide guidance to junior engineers where required
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships

About You

Suitable applicants will be/have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil or Geotechnical preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in geotechnical design and site investigations
  • Strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards and geotechnical practices
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Experience preparing technical documentation and reports
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Client-focused mindset with the ability to manage expectations
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software and general computer applications
