The role in more details:

  • Analyze regulatory & policy frameworks related to renewable and low-carbon gases and fuels, as well as natural gas in the EU and national context.

  • Contribute to energy (gas, renewable gas, fuels) markets related research and data analysis

  • Support with the implementation of complex projects to help our clients implement policies and strategies

  • Support the full acquisition process of relevant projects

To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):

  • Integrated Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant engineering discipline

  • Master of Science/Engineering would be considered a strong asset

  • Advanced knowledge of the natural gas market and the relevant regulatory context

  • Good knowledge of hydrogen and biogas/biomethane technologies, regulatory and policy frameworks at national and EU level

  • Prior experience in waste to energy projects will be considered an asset

  • Experience in drafting proposals for IFI donors will be considered an asset

  • 8-10 years’ experience in relevant fields

  • Prior experience in consulting will be considered a strong asset

  • Excellent command of spoken and written Greek & English

  • Strong writing, communication and presentation skills

  • Excellent command of excel

  • Organization skills and critical thinking

  • Ability to develop and deliver high quality services and solutions

  • An extremely high work ethic

  • Team player, agile and able to multi-task

  • Motivation for career progression and development

  • Fulfilled obligations imposed by legislation on military service
