Job Description

Join our Team

About the opportunity
You will join the PA Design team in PEU Radio Pacific Chengdu, responsible for the full power amplifier (PA) lifecycle in our radio products – from design and simulation to verification, optimization and support in volume production. The team focuses on delivering high-quality, high-efficiency PA solutions on time, with a strong culture of ownership, execution excellence and cross-functional collaboration.

What you will do

  • Design, simulate and optimize RF/microwave PA circuits for radio products from concept to maintenance.
  • Perform PA simulations using tools such as ADS, AWR and HFSS, translating system/product requirements into implementable PA designs.
  • Plan and execute PA lab measurements, characterize key performance parameters and tune designs to meet efficiency, linearity and robustness targets.
  • Independently debug PA performance issues from simulation to HW bring-up, using structured root-cause analysis and clear documentation.
  • Collaborate with system, RF, HW, test and manufacturing engineers to secure design-to-test closure and robust, volume-ready implementations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of PA architectures, line-ups and design methods to support high-performance, energy-efficient radio solutions.
  • Share knowledge and best practices within the team and participate in reviews and technical discussions, clearly explaining design decisions and trade-offs.

The skills you bring:

  • Master’s degree or above in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, RF/Microwave Engineering or related field.
  • Solid understanding of RF/microwave fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience in RF or PA design (schematic and layout), with exposure to RF power devices and front-end modules.
  • Proficiency with RF/EM simulation tools (e.g. ADS, AWR, HFSS) and ability to correlate simulation and measurement results.
  • Experience in PA lab validation and measurement (e.g. S-parameters, gain, P1dB, ACLR, EVM, efficiency), including tuning and troubleshooting to meet targets.
  • Proven independent design/debug capability, strong problem-solving skills and ownership from initial design through test and release.
  • RF-related work experience (e.g. PA, RF front-end, radio HW or similar domains).
  • Good communication skills, collaborative mindset and willingness to continuously learn.
