Job Description

Exhava Home Care is looking for compassionate and experienced caregivers with dementia care experience to support older adults in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support
• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
• Provide safe mobility assistance
• Support clients experiencing dementia and memory-related challenges with patience and respect
• Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan
• Accompany clients to appointments or errands when needed
• Help maintain a safe, calm, and comfortable home environment
• Observe and communicate changes or concerns to the care team
• Follow individualized care plans and promote client dignity and independence

Requirements

• Previous caregiving experience preferred
• 5+ years of caregiving experience
• Experience providing care to clients with dementia or memory loss
• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration
• Current TB test result or chest X-ray documentation
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
