We're currently seeking a compassionate, experienced caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a client in Fallbrook This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is confident caring for individuals living with dementia and is looking for consistent, full-time hours with a supportive agency.

Full-Time Schedule

  • Full-time hours available

What You'll Do

Provide compassionate, one-on-one care that allows seniors to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Providing companionship and meaningful engagement
  • Dementia care, including redirection, reassurance, and creating a calm environment
  • Meal planning and preparation
  • Medication reminders
  • Light housekeeping and laundry
  • Mobility assistance, transfers, and fall prevention
  • Transportation to appointments and errands when needed
  • Monitoring changes in condition and communicating with the care team

What We're Looking For

  • At least 2 years of professional dementia caregiving experience
  • Experience managing confusion, memory loss, sundowning, and behavioral changes
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while providing exceptional care
  • Passion for improving the lives of older adults

Qualifications

  • Previous professional caregiving experience required
  • Dementia care experience required
  • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Negative TB test (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Home Care Aide (HCA) registration preferred or willingness to obtain after hire
