Your key responsibilities

As part of the Strategy and Transactions team, you will:

• Perform valuations of businesses and assets for transactions, financial reporting, and tax purposes, using income, market and asset-based approaches.
• Develop and review financial models supporting strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, investment appraisal, financial reporting and other business decisions.
• Analyse historical financial performance, forecasts and free cash flows to understand the key drivers of business value.
• Conduct company, industry and market research and translate findings into clear commercial insights.
• Participate in management discussions, interviews and site visits as part of the valuation and analysis process.
• Prepare high-quality proposals, reports, and presentations and communicate findings to clients.
• Support clients in evaluating the significance of your findings and implications for their transactions.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple other disciplines.

To qualify for the role, you should have

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or another relevant discipline.
• An ACA/ACCA or CFA qualification.
• At least two years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in either accounting, audit, corporate finance, banking, investment, financial modelling, or another relevant experience in professional services firms.
• Strong financial analysis and modelling capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
