About the Position

Total Comfort Group supports commercial mechanical systems and facilities operations for national retail and commercial clients with locations across the Northeast and beyond.

We are currently adding a Commercial HVAC Service Specialist to support client sites throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. This role is ideal for a field professional who enjoys working on diverse commercial systems across multiple locations.

Pay & Benefits

Core Responsibilities

• Perform field service, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Evaluate system performance and identify mechanical or control‑related issues
• Support corrective repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance activities
• Service equipment ranging from light commercial units up to 50‑ton systems
• Work with refrigeration circuits, boilers, and HVAC controls
• Complete work orders and service documentation accurately
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company compliance standards
• Coordinate daily assignments with dispatch and service leadership
• Travel to commercial locations across Pennsylvania and New Jersey

Required Experience & Skills

• 3+ years of hands‑on commercial HVAC service experience
• Completion of an accredited HVAC or mechanical training program
• Working knowledge of:
• Commercial HVAC systems
• Refrigeration equipment
• Boilers
• Electrical and control components
• EPA Universal Certification (required)
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ownership of standard hand tools, meters, and gauges
• Availability for overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
• Ability and willingness to travel regionally

Physical & Work Conditions

• Field‑based role with indoor and outdoor work environments
• Ability to lift, climb ladders, bend, kneel, crawl, and stand for extended periods
• Fast‑paced commercial service schedule with frequent site changes
