The CPCO will oversee compliance programs, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations, billing standards, and ethical practices. This role safeguards the organization against legal risks, promotes regulatory awareness, and supports operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing overall compliance program and ensuring adherence to all federal, state, payer, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitoring compliance with HIPAA, CMS, Medicaid, Medicare, commercial payer, and accreditation standards.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance policies, procedures, and SOPs.
• Conducting internal compliance audits and monitoring documentation, billing, coding, credentialing, and operational processes.
• Investigating compliance concerns and coordinating corrective action plans when needed.
• Ensuring timely completion of mandatory compliance training for all staff.
• Working closely with clinical, billing, credentialing, HR, and operations teams to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
• Maintaining documentation for audits, regulatory reviews, and payer requests.
• Reporting compliance findings, trends, and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Leading ongoing quality improvement and regulatory readiness initiatives across the organization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in outpatient psychiatric or behavioral health practices USA.
• Familiarity with denial management and prior authorization processes.
• Ability to design compliance dashboards and reporting tools.
