Job Location

• Truck Pickup & Orientation: Odessa, TX 79766
• States Served: TX, AZ, NM, UT, NV, limited CO

Account

• Dedicated Dollar Tree account hauling dry van freight
• Multi-stop regional routes (2–5 stops per load)
• Drivers hand unload cartons using gravity rollers
• Average unload rate: 500 pieces/hour
• Typical trailer: ~3,600 pieces
• Backhauls on approximately 20% of loads
• Steady, year-round freight (non-seasonal)

Route & Work Details

• Average weekly miles: 1,984
• Average weekly stops: 7
• Delivery days: Monday–Saturday
• 5–6 day work week
• Home weekly for a 34-hour reset (routed through home market when possible)
• Weekends not guaranteed

Compensation – Solo CDL A Drivers ( W- 2)

• Mileage pay based on verifiable CDL A experience
• Starting pay up to $0.73 CPM
• Automatic mileage increases every 6 months up to $0.77 CPM

Mileage Pay Scale

• 6 months: $0.70 CPM
• 1 year: $0.71 CPM
• 18 months: $0.72 CPM
• 2 years: $0.73 CPM
• 30 months: $0.74 CPM
• 3 years: $0.75 CPM
• 42 months: $0.76 CPM
• 4 years: $0.77 CPM

Additional Pay & Bonuses

• $100 per trailer unload
• $45 per stop
• Quarterly safety bonus: $10 per stop
• Additional $700–$1,000 per quarter
• $1,200 guaranteed weekly pay for first 60 days after upgrade
• $3,000 driver referral bonus

Training

• Two-week unload training program
• Ride-along with experienced Dollar Tree driver
• Training pay: $200/day (typically 6 days)
• Training locations may include TX, MO, or CO

Equipment

• Automatic transmission tractors only
• Freightliner & International trucks
• 48’ & 53’ dry van trailers
• 100% APUs
• No slip seating
• Drivers take trucks home

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 6 months recent CDL A driving experience
