Job Description

Under the direct supervision of the Floor Manager, Table Games or Shift Manager, Table Games, this position is responsible for providing dealing services to customers while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadians learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.

Key Accountabilities

  • Deals card games
  • Maintains the security of the table and its float
  • Controls the table in the correct order of play; closes bets at the appropriate time
  • Refers disputes, irregularities or suspicious activities to the Manager
  • Verifies chip refills and credits
  • Tidies workstation and pit area
  • Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
  • Builds strong working relationships with guests and team members
  • Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
  • Performs other duties as assigned or directed

Education and Qualifications

  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, overnights and holidays
  • One year professional Card Dealer experience
  • Serving it Right Certificate
  • Other languages an asset
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License

Work Environment Considerations

Regular casino environment, standing for long periods of time, dealing cards for long periods of time and non-traditional w ork hours
