Virtua Medical Group, a physician-led organization of more than 1,800 clinicians and growing, is seeking an Experienced Breast Surgeon to join our well-established and growing breast surgery team.
This is a full-time, employed position with Virtua Health, a leading health system located in Southern New Jersey with convenient access to Philadelphia, the New Jersey Shore, New York City, and Washington, DC.
Our breast surgeons and advanced practice providers are 100% breast-focused, providing comprehensive surgical care for patients with both benign and malignant breast disease. The team is committed to utilizing the latest surgical techniques, technology, and equipment to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Qualified candidates should be fellowship trained in breast surgery, have prior experience practicing as a breast surgeon, and be board certified or board eligible.
About Our Breast Program
Integrated within the Penn Medicine | Virtua Health Cancer Program, providing access to a leading academic-affiliated oncology network and comprehensive cancer care.
NAPBC-accredited breast program supported by a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team including breast radiology, pathology, plastic surgery, medical oncology, and radiation oncology.
Comprehensive, patient-centered care model with close collaboration among nurse navigators, genetic counselors, research coordinators, social workers, rehabilitation services, and home care teams to promote seamless continuity of care.
Shared breast surgery call with a two-week rotation among a dedicated team of breast surgeons.
Strong clinical support structure including two advanced practice providers, a nurse coordinator, and a dedicated surgical scheduler.
Well-established referral network supporting consistent case volume and continued program growth.

Compensation & Benefits
In compliance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act, we are required to post a minimum base salary. Our team is seeking a surgeon with post-training experience, and experienced providers will be offered a starting base salary of $440,000 or higher, based on years of experience, specialty expertise, and overall qualifications.
Final compensation will be competitive and commensurate with the candidate’s experience, credentials, training, and prevailing market conditions.
