The Role

Following our continued growth and success in securing and delivering major infrastructure projects across Australia, we are currently seeking an Experienced BIM Coordinator - Roads & Highways to join our Brisbane team.

This is an opportunity to contribute to the delivery of some of ANZ's most significant infrastructure projects while supporting the continued growth of our Digital Engineering capability.

In this role, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support the effective implementation of BIM and Digital Engineering practices across projects, contributing to high-quality, coordinated digital delivery outcomes. You will bring a strong technical foundation, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous improvement within a collaborative environment.

You will have a solid understanding of BIM and CAD methodologies and be confident supporting the setup, coordination, review and optimisation of BIM workflows across complex infrastructure projects. Experience delivering projects for the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) will be highly regarded.

About You

  • 3+ years' experience supporting the delivery of Transport & Infrastructure projects.
  • Experience working on projects for TMR or other major government infrastructure clients is highly regarded.
  • Strong understanding of BIM, Digital Engineering and CAD principles within multidisciplinary infrastructure environments.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting BIM implementation, including model coordination, clash detection, federated model management and digital delivery workflows.
  • Experience working within Common Data Environments (CDEs) and digital collaboration platforms.
  • Sound understanding of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), information management and model governance principles aligned with ISO 19650.
  • Strong understanding of spatial coordination and multidisciplinary design integration.
  • Demonstrated commercial awareness and an understanding of project delivery objectives and constraints.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Relevant qualification in BIM, Digital Engineering, Information Management, Engineering, Surveying or a related discipline (minimum Advanced Diploma or equivalent).

Technical Capability

You will have experience with a range of Digital Engineering and BIM platforms, ideally including:

  • BIM coordination and review tools such as Navisworks, Revizto and similar platforms.
  • Autodesk and Bentley design environments, including tools used for infrastructure modelling, visualisation and design coordination.
  • Common Data Environments such as ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and 12d Synergy.
  • Digital reporting, data visualisation and collaboration tools within the Microsoft ecosystem.

Highly Regarded

Experience with one or more of the following would be advantageous:

  • Revit, 12d Model, Autodesk Forma or similar design and modelling platforms.
  • Power BI, Microsoft Copilot or other digital reporting and productivity tools.
  • Scripting, automation and computational design tools such as Python, Dynamo, PowerShell or C#.
