About Mike's Motor Zone

Mike's Motor Zone is seeking an experienced B-Level Automotive Technician to join our high-integrity, customer-focused independent repair shop in Lancaster, PA. We service Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles in a collaborative environment led by a hands-on Master Technician serving as General Manager. Key Responsibilities

• Perform general automotive repairs including brakes, suspension, and vehicle inspections.
• Complete Pennsylvania State Inspection and Emissions testing.
• Perform Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI), document vehicle health checks, and communicate repair findings to support customer recommendations.
• Service Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles.
• Collaborate with fellow technicians to maintain efficient workflow and support continued shop growth.
• Maintain quality workmanship while following shop processes and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Current Pennsylvania State Inspection and Emissions Licenses required.
• Strong general repair skills with automotive diagnostic experience considered a plus.
• Experience performing Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) is preferred.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with teammates and support a customer-focused service experience.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Pay: $25.00–$27.50 per hour.
• Performance-Based Pay: Opportunity to earn up to $48/hour at peak productivity.
• Estimated Earning Potential: $60,000–$90,000 annually based on productivity (not guaranteed).
