Automotive Diagnostic Technician | $100K–$150K

Future Auto Repair in Bossier City, LA is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician who can handle diagnostics, electrical work, and complex repairs without being micromanaged.

This is a high-volume, well-equipped shop with 15 bays, 15 lifts, climate-controlled work areas, steady car count, strong advisor support, and a real pay plan built for technicians who can produce.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair domestic, Asian, and European vehicles

• Perform electrical troubleshooting and drivability diagnostics

• Handle engine, transmission, and complex mechanical repairs

• Complete general maintenance and repair work as needed

• Document findings and parts recommendations in TechMetric

• Work efficiently in a flat-rate environment

• Communicate professionally with the shop team

What We’re Looking For

• 4–5+ years of automotive repair experience

• Strong diagnostic ability

• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills

• Ability to perform complex repairs

• Your own tools (tool relocation assistance available)

• Comfortable working flat rate

• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented

A-Level Technicians are strongly preferred, but we will consider strong B-Level Technicians with solid diagnostic skills and the right attitude.

ASE certifications are a plus, but not required.

Pay Plan

This is a flat-rate position with real earning potential.

• First month: $30/hr flat rate

• Standard flat-rate range: $40–$50/hr based on production

• High-production bonus plan: up to $60/hr

• Weekly pay

• $1,000 guarantee for the first 2 weeks

Expected annual earnings are $100,000–$130,000+, with top performers capable of reaching $150,000.

• Monday–Friday

• 7:30 AM–5:00 PM

• No weekends

Important Must-Knows

This is not a maintenance-only role. We need someone who can diagnose, troubleshoot electrical issues, and handle more advanced repair work.

Diesel experience is welcome, but we are not hiring for a dedicated diesel-only position at this time.

No sign-on bonus is currently offered, but relocation reimbursement may be available for the right candidate.
