Experienced Automotive Technician - Ramsey, NJ

Join Meineke Car Care Center #112 at 536 Route 17 North, Ramsey, NJ 07446. We are hiring a full-time technician who takes pride in quality work, accurate diagnostics, and dependable customer service.

Pay: $1,000-$2,000 per week, based on experience and qualifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle concerns using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect and repair brakes, steering and suspension, exhaust systems, and other automotive components.
• Document inspections, recommendations, parts used, and work performed accurately.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and fellow technicians about vehicle conditions and repair progress.
• Follow safety guidelines, maintain an organized work area, and check completed work for quality.
• Continue developing your knowledge through training and teamwork.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years of automotive repair experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to doing the job right.
• Dependability, clear communication, and the ability to work effectively with a team.
• Ability to perform the essential physical duties of the role, including handling parts and equipment up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
