Experienced Automotive Technician – $35–$40+/HR

Commerce Township, MI | Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM

$35–$40+ per hour based on experience | No Weekends!

Are you an experienced Automotive Technician looking for a great Monday–Friday schedule, competitive pay, and a quality work environment?

We are currently seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team in Commerce Township, MI. We are looking for someone with strong diagnostic and repair experience who takes pride in their work and can work independently.

Experience working on foreign or European vehicles is a major plus!

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical automotive issues
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine vehicle services
• Diagnose complex automotive problems using professional diagnostic equipment
• Perform brake, suspension, steering, engine, cooling system, and electrical repairs
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify needed repairs
• Accurately complete repairs while maintaining high-quality standards
• Follow manufacturer specifications and proper repair procedures
• Communicate repair findings and recommendations professionally
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of professional automotive repair experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience using automotive diagnostic equipment
• Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs independently
• Strong mechanical knowledge and attention to detail
• Dependable and professional
• Valid driver's license
• Foreign/European vehicle experience is highly preferred
• ASE certifications are a plus, but not required

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a highly skilled, dependable Automotive Technician who doesn't need to be micromanaged and takes pride in doing the job correctly the first time. We are especially interested in technicians with experience working on BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Volvo, Porsche, Lexus, or other foreign/European vehicles.
