Do you want a job where you get to tell stories, meet people from all over the world and become an expert in one of Denmark's most iconic brands?

At Home of Carlsberg, no two days are the same. One day you might be guiding guests through Carlsberg's fascinating history, the next hosting a beer tasting in our historic cellars or helping create memorable experiences for visitors from around the world.

This is a unique opportunity to combine your interest in people, culture, history or beer with a flexible student or part-time job in one of Copenhagen's most visited attractions.

Welcome to Home of Carlsberg

Atop Valby Hill in Copenhagen, beer has been brewed since 1847. Today, Home of Carlsberg welcomes guests from around the world to explore the story of Carlsberg through interactive exhibitions, guided tours, beer tastings and unique experiences in the historic brewery area.

As part of our Public Engagement team, you'll play an important role in bringing that story to life and creating memorable moments for every guest who walks through our doors.

What will you gain from the role?

As a member of the Public Engagement team, you will:

  • Learn fascinating stories about the Jacobsen family, beer brewing and Carlsberg's history
  • Develop strong presentation, communication and storytelling skills
  • Gain experience hosting tours, tastings and guest experiences in English
  • Meet visitors from all over the world every day
  • Become part of an energetic and supportive team
  • Work in one of Copenhagen's most unique cultural attractions
  • Build valuable customer service and hospitality experience

Whether you dream of a future in tourism, hospitality, events, culture, communication or something completely different, this role gives you experience that you can take with you long after your time at Home of Carlsberg.

What will your days look like?

Supporting daily operations

  • Serving beer in our bars
  • Welcoming guests and creating a great atmosphere
  • Restocking products and preparing the bars for visitors
  • Supporting the team with practical tasks throughout the day

Who are you?

You don't need to be a beer expert or know everything about Carlsberg's history before you start.

What matters most is that you:

  • Enjoy meeting and talking to new people
  • Have a natural sense of hospitality and great service
  • Are curious and eager to learn
  • Feel comfortable speaking in front of groups
  • Thrive in a lively international environment

Our primary working language is English.

We'll provide thorough training, so you'll quickly become confident in sharing stories about beer, brewing and the people who shaped Carlsberg's history.

What do we offer?

  • Flexible working hours that can fit around your studies or other commitments
  • Training and development in guiding, storytelling and guest engagement
  • Colleagues who are passionate, social and ready to support you
  • Employment under the Organisation Agreement of the Experience Industry (OPO)
  • The chance to become part of the team behind one of Copenhagen's most exciting visitor attractions

About Carlsberg Group

This is the official LinkedIn channel of the Carlsberg Group.

The Carlsberg Group was established in 1847 by brewer J.C. Jacobsen. J.C. Jacobsen was a true renaissance man. A believer in quality, research and serving the community, he shared his knowledge with fellow brewers. He looked to the future, prizing long-term growth over short-term gain.

Today, Carlsberg Group is one of the leading brewery groups in the world, with a large portfolio of beer and other beverage brands. Our beer portfolio spans core beer brands, including local power brands and international premium brands, craft & speciality brands and alcohol-free brews.

Our brands are enjoyed in more than 150 markets across Western Europe, Asia and Central & Eastern Europe, and we hold a number 1 or 2 position in more than 20 markets.

We strive to brew better beers, today and tomorrow. Doing business responsibly and sustainably supports that purpose – and drives the efforts to deliver value for both our shareholders and the society.
