Job Description

We design. We build. We innovate.

We are a company of artisans and innovators. For over 30 years, we’ve applied our creativity and craftsmanship to the world’s arts, entertainment and experience industries. We’ve been recognised with five Academy Awards, four BAFTA Awards, three Thea Awards and over 30 other national and international accolades.

Our Immersive Experience (IE) Team are renowned for creating unique and meaningful experiences, from the intimate to the epic! They've worked on exhibitions, narrative-driven destinations, museums, galleries, retail spaces, art installations and a lot more... you can see our work here

With new projects on the horizon we're wanting to hear from visionary Experience Designers to help shape the future of immersive spatial storytelling at Wētā Workshop!

If you have a background in experience design, architecture, exhibition design, spatial design or themed entertainment, and a solid portfolio showcasing your ability to craft breathtaking location-based experiences, immersive theatre, cultural destinations, themed attractions and cinematic worlds, we want to hear from you.

It is essential that you have experience working in:

  • Adobe Suite/Adobe Creative Cloud (including Photoshop)
  • Rhino
  • Vectorworks.

Experience with Revit, Grasshopper and Blender is a plus, too.

Please note: We won't be able to consider submissions without a portfolio, or missing the required software skills.

All expressions of interest will be reviewed - we'll be in touch when we have a role that matches your skills and experience. There could be project work, or long term work.

You may not hear from us for a while, as our projects vary and the types of skills we need depend on the work we have on.

We'll also be back in touch if we don't feel like the work we do is a great match for your skills/experience.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Additional Information

We also advertise specific, permanent roles when they're available, so please keep an eye out on Seek, Linked In, Dezeen and Bluloop
