Job Description

Your Responsibilities:

We are now seeking an Expelling Operator, who will be responsible for the safe and efficient running of the seed preparation and expelling process at ADM Erith Ltd.

• To ensure the safe and efficient running of the seed preparation and expelling process in liaison with production colleagues and management.
• To ensure Health and Safety, food safety, environmental compliance regulations and company standards are maintained in the seed preparation and expelling process.
• Responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the department following GMP standards.
• To perform small maintenance related jobs and liaise with maintenance department in regards more complex matters.
• To ensure safe start-up, running and shutdown of plant and machinery in the seed preparation and expelling process.
• Ensure product throughput and quality is maintained to required levels in the seed preparation and expelling process.
• To accurately maintain production process records and paperwork.
• To liaise with other process departments to ensure the whole process is running smoothly and in particular, work closely with the Crush Operator and Extraction Operator, providing cover and assistance where appropriate.
• To assist and contribute to Performance Excellence initiatives at Erith.

Your Profile:

• Experience working in a production / operations process environment similar to Erith.
• Educated to GCSE (or equivalent level) with good basic mathematical & English written skills.
• Good IT skills, able to use email and basic computer packages.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• A strong affinity to continuous improvement in a production environment.
• A strong commitment to safety in a production environment.
