As an Expeditor – Level 1, you’ll support our Sourcing and Supply Chain teams by ensuring purchased materials and services stay on schedule to meet project needs. You’ll work closely with suppliers to monitor progress, identify risks early, and help resolve delays before they impact the business. You’ll also collect and distribute vendor documentation, maintain accurate data in our systems, and contribute to a smooth, well‑coordinated procurement process. This role reports to the Procurement Manager and involves frequent collaboration with Buyers, Supply Chain Coordinators, and external vendors.
Your Day to Day as an Expeditor – Level 1
• Track outstanding purchase order action items using tools such as Excel or Smartsheet.
• Work proactively with suppliers to mitigate delays, identify bottlenecks, prioritize orders, and escalate issues when needed.
• Maintain accurate ERP data, including expected ship dates, committed ship dates, and documentation status.
• Coordinate free‑issue material and submit source inspection requests.
• Expedite buyer actions related to supplier nonconformance and keep Buyers informed of commercial updates.
• Receive and circulate vendor deliverables, including QA documentation, for approval.
• Occasionally travel to supplier locations as required.
Required Qualifications
• Supply chain certification or a post‑secondary program in purchasing, business administration, or a technical field.
• 1–3 years of experience in supply chain.
• Strong communication and issue‑resolution skills.
• Solid computer skills, including Word, Excel, Power BI, and Smartsheet.
• Experience in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
• Experience in aerospace or nuclear industries is considered an asset, but not required.

The base salary range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $70,227 and $91,299 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
