• Receive and review customer orders to ensure accuracy.
• Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of food items.
• Inspect and ensure that all dishes are properly cooked, presented, and garnished before being sent to customers.
• Work closely with waitstaff to ensure that orders are delivered to the correct tables.
• Monitor and manage food inventory to minimize waste and maintain adequate supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and guidelines.
• Train new staff members as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Waitperson experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interactive skills.
• Ability to lift and carry large, heavy banquet trays and beverage trays.
• Literacy and fluency in English
• Mobility to move quickly and easily through restaurant and kitchen areas

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to work inside and maneuver throughout assigned station during entire shift.
• Must be able to lift items up to 50 pounds and bend, pull and carry stock to refrigerator and cabinets.
• Must be able to use hand motion when cleaning and wiping counters.
• Must possess the manual dexterity to complete required “side work”.
• Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.

Pay: $18 an hour
