Chevron Global Technology Services (CGLOBTECH), located in Barcelona, Edo. Anzoátegui, Venezuela, is accepting online applications for the position of Expeditor through October 18th, 2026, 11:59 PM. (Venezuela time)

Responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient flow of materials across Venezuela EMs and Sole Cost operations, enabling business continuity through proactive supply chain coordination, supplier engagement, and logistics management. Acts as a key link between procurement, warehouse, suppliers, logistics providers, customs authorities, and end users to mitigate supply risks, optimize delivery performance, and maintain inventory availability. Drives data integrity, operational visibility, regulatory compliance, and continuous supplier improvement while supporting effective decision-making and the successful execution of materials management and procurement strategies.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Follow-up on delivery of materials to ensure suppliers are complying with promised delivery dates, and warehouse/users are receiving the materials on time, including documentation follow up from and to the warehouses
  • Prepare a consolidate report and promptly advice regarding schedule change. Work closely with warehouse supervisor in order to assure minimum stock out and MM processes are followed.
  • Provides expediting services for all Venezuela PO’s using ERP systems and reporting tools (Garner).
  • Maintains close relationship with co-workers, external customers, user departments including EMs users to ensure material needs are clearly planned, organized and delivery dates are met.
  • Handles materials final acceptance in ERP, close-out processes for all PO’s and ensures file is ready for archiving.
  • Provides timely feedback to customers and buyers advising of any potential problems in delivery requirements as well as negotiates delivery improvements with suppliers as needed.
  • Ensures data integrity of the ERP Expediting module and manages interface with other systems.
  • Drive continuous supplier performance improvement by monitoring key supplier metrics, identifying performance gaps and optimization opportunities, and implementing action plans to improve on-time delivery, reliability, and overall supplier performance.
  • Liaises closely with freight forwarder, Customs and Inspection Agents and coordinates all shipment logistics between these entities.
  • Strongly familiar with the organic law of customs, material clearance process and special permits (e.g., Sencamer.) as well with tax exempt when applies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Preferably Bachelor´s degree in Engineering, or Technical Degree in O&G, Logistics or Engineering or administration areas.
  • Must be proficient in English. Written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Analytics and Proficient in digital tools (Microsoft software, Power Bi, Power app, ERP)
  • Teamwork and customer service focus (Capacity to provide response to several end users).
  • Experience in custom process, import and export logistics, control policies, guidelines, and procedures related to domestic and international shipments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, expediting or Warehousing operations
  • Experience with any SCM ERP system.
  • SCM Knowledge- Experienced with supply chain practices.

  • Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
