AFRC - Expediter/Chemical Tool Crib Attendant
Primary Function
The Parts Expediter acts as the liaison between air crews, projects, supply vendors, logistics, purchasing, and operations management to ensure a smooth flow of parts to the technical end-users. Communication with all parties is an essential part of the expediter role. Knowledge relevant to the parts for aircraft operations and maintenance, in addition to the procurement process is required.
The Tool/Chem Crib / HAZMAT (Hazardous Materials) Attendant is responsible for the daily routine of issuing tools/parts and hazardous material. Must be capable of performing requisitioning, inventory control, storing, packaging, shipping, receiving, and cataloging required material in the support of aircraft operations. Responsible for the adherence to the Environmental, Health and Safety regulations, policies and mandated Quality Assurance, Security, and all other applicable Navy/Air Force and NASA Program requirements per Armstrong Safety (Code 700) checklists.

Working Environment
A fast paced multi-tasking customer service oriented environment requiring a high degree of efficient and effective performance. Adaptability regarding schedule and task changes is necessary to accommodate changing priorities. Overtime may be required.
The pay rate for this position is $39.16 per hour
