Join our dynamic team as an
Expat Finishing Supervisor
and contribute to the success of projects delivered by a renowned construction and engineering firm. As an Expat Finishing Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion of projects with a focus on maintaining exceptional standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with project managers, artisans, and other stakeholders to oversee the finishing aspects of construction projects while adhering to established timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project schedules to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.

  • Resolve finishing construction issues promptly while upholding high standards of safety and quality.

  • Calculate, monitor, and track all materials required for each project to prevent overruns.

  • Collaborate with project managers to make necessary adjustments and ensure timely procurement of materials.

  • Plan and communicate scope of work requirements to artisans, reviewing production and quality to ensure successful implementation.

  • Check technical designs and drawings for accuracy and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Conduct regular inspections to oversee quality control and ensure adherence to health and safety protocols on site.

  • Prepare comprehensive site reports as required, documenting progress, issues, and resolutions.

  • Fulfill any additional responsibilities assigned by General Managers, Technical Managers, or Project Managers.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma or University degree in Construction, Building, Civil Engineering, or a relevant discipline.

  • Relevant professional certifications in Engineering or Building are advantageous but not mandatory.

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in a finishing supervisor, construction, or civil engineering role.

  • Experience in block work, plastering, tiling, and general finishing is required.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for reviewing technical designs.

  • Advanced skills in MS Office suite for documentation and communication.

  • Familiarity with Adobe Professional for creating and editing project-related documents.
