Job Description

• Ensure the smooth running of the customs clearance shift &/or function by managing the work rosters and the work performed by the clearance department in order to achieve the performance standards set by local management and yet ensuring that the regulatory requirements and customer instructions are complied.
• Monitor and supervise the clearance activities performed in the clearance department to ensure that the clearance operation runs smoothly i.e. that the shipments are Pre-cleared or post cleared in a timely manner and that and complies with the regulatory and customer requirements
• Assist the Customs Clearance manager to implement and supervise the work procedures to ensure compliance to the standard clearance processes and standards
• Monitor and track the clearance performance and assist in the development and implementation of corrective actions as needed to achieve the clearance performance goals set by local management
• Comply with policies, regulations and procedures that have been spelt out by Customs and other government agencies

Supervise duty and tax payments and ensure that adequate controls are in place to monitor these disbursements to prevent abuse

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Law or related field is required.
• Customs Broker certified by General Department of Customs and Excise is preferred
• 2-4 years’ experience working in customs clearance matters within the logistics, international transportation or brokerage industry is required,
• Fluent Speaking/Reading/Writing of English and Khmer are required.
• Good Computer Skills: MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet & Email
• Strong leadership skill with negotiation and organization skill
• Ability to work under pressure
