The opportunity

We are currently looking for an Expansion Account Executive to join our team and play a key role in expanding the commitment and engagement from our existing customer base in the German market. This role is an exciting opportunity to act as a trusted advisor for nearly 400 existing customers, identifying untapped potential, increasing product usage, and driving additional revenue to support their digitization journeys.

As our dedicated Expansion Account Executive in Germany, you will step into a role with a unique level of ownership. You will be part of our close-knit Berlin office working alongside local colleagues from different departments, while partnering daily with your core Expansion team and the wider company globally. This setup is ideal for someone who enjoys high autonomy, but knows how to build strong relationships and stay highly connected in an international environment

📍 The role will be based in Berlin (Hybrid), and you will report to Head of Expansion who is based in Stockholm. Fluency in German and English is required.

As an Expansion Account Executive, you will:

• Take ownership of a growing portfolio - Proactively source your own expansion opportunities within our existing customer base in the German market, building long-lasting trust with key stakeholders.
• Manage the full expansion sales process - Navigate parallel processes with different stakeholders (Sales, Legal, IT-executives) and involve internal resources like Implementation Specialists, Project Managers and Legal expertise to ensure a seamless customer journey.
• Technical proficiency - As our platform becomes an integral component of our clients' digital stacks, you possess a deep curiosity for complex systems and the ability to effectively communicate how our technology optimizes a client's technical landscape.
• Collaborate customer success - Work closely with Solution engineering and Customer Success teams to build and grow a sales pipeline to ensure continuous over-achievement.
• Hold Product demos and webinars - Coordinates in-house exhibitions and presentations, top management events and meetings.

What we’re looking for

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• 1-3 years of experience in B2B sales. A background in New Business/Outbound is highly valued, as a strong business mindset and prospecting skills are needed to proactively engage our existing base.
• A high level of agency - You are fearless, self-reliant, and ready to take control of your own opportunities and pipeline.
• A continuous growth mindset - You are curious, eager to learn, and always looking for ways to improve yourself and the customer experience.
• A customer-centric approach – You have excellent listening skills and a genuine interest in walking the extra mile to understand the customer’s reality.
• A Technical interest - You have the ability to hold a technical discussion.
• Fluency in German and English, both in written and spoken language.

🌟 Bonus points if you have:

• Relevant tech experience - experience selling software, tech, or complex IT solutions (SaaS is a strong plus).
• System integration knowledge - An understanding of how software integrates into a customer’s wider system landscape, or experience with CRM application sales.
• High-growth expertise - Experience in thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth working environment.
