Exotic Animal Veterinary Assistant in Dennis and Buzzards Bay, MA

As a Veterinary Technician in our ZEMS department, you will work directly with our board-certified zoological medicine specialist and specialized technicians as part of a collaborative and growing clinical care team.

What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent care for both outpatient and inpatient patients
• Perform diagnostics and treatments
• Utilize excellent client communication skills
• Helping to manage chronic and acute cases
• Processing laboratory samples
• Monitoring anesthesia and assisting with procedures

What We’re Looking For

• CVT/RVT/LVT (or eligible and willing to obtain within 6 months)
• Exotic Specialty experience is preferred; strong growth mindset matter most
• A team-first, kind communicator who enjoys collaborating across departments
• A commitment to gold-standard medicine and continuous learning

Schedule and Compensation

• The schedule is Monday through Friday, split between the Dennis and Buzzards Bay locations. There is also a shared holiday rotation.
• Pay range is $17-$21/hr, based on experience, expertise, and equity. Most new hires can expect an offer between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
