Primary Responsibilities
This Exercise Planning candidate provides subject matter expertise on Intelligence, Cyber and Space Planning for the 16AF/A34/7 Exercise and Wargames Branch. This candidate is responsible for furnishing expertise, guidance, and direct support to exercise activities. The candidate will rely on their breadth of experience in the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) and cyberspace community to plan and execute wargames and exercises, at the Component and Service levels. The candidate will be expected to create or contribute to CONOPs, EXORDs, and storylines for Combatant Command exercises and wargames. This candidate will be a key member to cyber and intelligence planning syndicates, where they will be required to speak to the capabilities of the 16 AF, and ensure identified exercise and training objectives are developed and included in the planning events. The candidate may be required to participate and contribute to GO-level informational briefings and In-Progress Reviews within 16AF/AFCYBER/JFHQ-C AF. This candidate’s technical expertise will support US Space Command, US Indo-Pacific Command, US European Command, US Strategic Command, United States Space Force, and Joint Force Headquarters DODIN.
Basic Qualifications
Active TS/SCI security clearance
Bachelor’s and 15+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s and 10+ years. Comparable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Previous assignments/work in intelligence and cyberspace mission areas in support of Cyber and C4ISR exercises
Familiarization with the Joint Trainer Tool, MAVEN, and JCO desired
Must be available for travel 35%
Shift work will be required periodically in support of exercise events
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting the ACC ISR enterprise
Prior experience assigned to HHQ (NAF and above)
Demonstrated experience with Combatant Command Structure, Authorities and Responsibilities
Experience briefing Senior Civilians and Military Officers and building tactical and strategic briefing packages, as well as chairing meetings, working groups and operations planning teams
Experience with exercise planning tools, mission essential tasks, and exercise scripting
Ability to attain SAR/SAR/STO Access

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
